The success of Call of Duty Mobile is not an end in itself for Activision, which is producing another mobile game based on its Queen franchise. To participate in the project, the American group announced that the Barcelona Digital Legends Studio acquisition for a not communicated amount.
For Chris Plummer, in charge of the Mobile at Activision, Digital Legends has demonstrated in terms of careful mobile games in addition to being part of the relatives of Activision. Specialized in the FPS, the Xavier Carrillo-Costa studio became known with titles like Respawnable Heroes and Afterpulse. The studio will now participate in the development of the next Call of Duty Mobile driven by a new internal studio named Solid State with the help of Beenox and Activision Shanghai. A collaboration of size that seems to reflect the ambitions of this project still unveiled, and it will not be confused with the Call of Duty Mobile developed by Timi Studios.
